    • Example: Mike wants to ensure his business name, “Retail Haven,” and logo are prominently displayed.
    • Action: Mike uploads his business logo and types “Retail Haven” in the business name field.
  2. Edit Invoice Body:
    • Description: Modify the main body of the invoice, including itemized lists, pricing, and tax information.
    • Example: Mike wants to add a column for product descriptions.
    • Action: Mike adds a new column for product descriptions and ensures all relevant information such as quantity, unit price, and total price are included.
  3. Edit Invoice Footer:
    • Description: Customize the footer to include terms and conditions, thank you notes, or additional contact information.
    • Example: Mike wants to add a thank you note and his business’s return policy.
    • Action: Mike types a thank you note and the return policy in the footer section.

Step 4: Preview and Save the Layout #

  1. Preview Changes:
    • Description: Before saving, preview the invoice layout to ensure it looks as expected.
    • Example: Mike clicks on the “Preview” button to see how the invoice will look with the changes.
    • Action: Mike reviews the preview to check for any errors or adjustments needed.
  2. Save Changes:
    • Description: Save the customized invoice layout.
    • Example: Once satisfied with the changes, Mike saves the new invoice layout.
    • Action: Mike clicks on the “Save” button to apply the changes.

Step 5: Set the Default Invoice Layout (Optional) #

  1. Set as Default:
    • Description: If this customized layout is to be used as the default for all invoices, set it as the default layout.
    • Example: Mike wants this new layout to be the standard for all sales invoices.
    • Action: Mike selects the option to set this layout as the default.

Final Step: Review and Test #

  1. Test the New Layout:
    • Description: Create a test invoice to ensure everything displays correctly with real data.
