Step 1: Enter Business Name #

  1. Label: Business Name:
    • Description: This field is for entering the name of your business.
    • Example: If your business is called “Demo Shop,” enter “Demo Shop” in this field.
    • Action: Click on the text input field next to “Business Name:*” and type “Demo Shop”.

Step 2: Enter Start Date #

  1. Label: Start Date:
    • Description: This field is for entering the start date of your business operations.
    • Example: If your business started on June 23, 2024, enter “06/23/2024”.
    • Action: Click on the date picker next to “Start Date:” and select “06/23/2024”.

Step 3: Select Currency #

  1. Label: Currency:
    • Description: This dropdown is for selecting the currency your business will use.
    • Example: If your business operates in the United States, select “America – Dollars(USD)”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Currency:” and select “America – Dollars(USD)”.

Step 4: Set Currency Symbol Placement #

  1. Label: Currency Symbol Placement:
    • Description: This dropdown is for setting where the currency symbol should be placed (before or after the amount).
    • Example: If you prefer the currency symbol to be before the amount, select “Before amount”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Currency Symbol Placement:” and select “Before amount”.

Step 5: Upload Business Logo #

  1. Label: Upload Logo:
    • Description: This field is for uploading your business logo.
    • Example: If you have a logo file, click “Browse” to upload it.
    • Action: Click on the “Browse…” button and select your logo file from your computer

Step 6: Select Financial Year Start Month #

  1. Label: Financial year start month:
    • Description: This dropdown is for selecting the month your financial year starts.
    • Example: If your financial year starts in February, select “February”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Financial year start month:” and select “February”.

Step 7: Enter Default Profit Percent #

  1. Label: Default profit percent:
    • Description: This field is for entering the default profit percentage for your business.
    • Example: If your default profit percentage is 25%, enter “25.00”.
    • Action: Click on the text input field next to “Default profit percent:*” and type “25.00”.

Step 8: Select Time Zone #

  1. Label: Time zone:
    • Description: This dropdown is for selecting your business’s time zone.
    • Example: If your business operates in the Africa/Harare time zone, select “Africa/Harare”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Time zone:” and select “Africa/Harare”.

Step 9: Select Stock Accounting Method #

  1. Label: Stock Accounting Method:
    • Description: This dropdown is for selecting the method used for stock accounting.
    • Example: If you use the FIFO (First In First Out) method, select “FIFO (First In First Out)”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Stock Accounting Method:*” and select “FIFO (First In First Out)”.

Step 10: Enter Transaction Edit Days #

  1. Label: Transaction Edit Days:
    • Description: This field is for entering the number of days transactions can be edited.
    • Example: If you allow transactions to be edited within 30 days, enter “30”.
    • Action: Click on the text input field next to “Transaction Edit Days:*” and type “30”.

Step 11: Select Date Format #

  1. Label: Date Format:
    • Description: This dropdown is for selecting the format in which dates should be displayed.
    • Example: If you prefer the “mm/dd/yyyy” format, select “mm/dd/yyyy”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Date Format:*” and select “mm/dd/yyyy”.

Step 12: Select Time Format #

  1. Label: Time Format:
    • Description: This dropdown is for selecting the format in which time should be displayed.
    • Example: If you prefer the 24-hour format, select “24 Hour”.
    • Action: Click on the dropdown menu next to “Time Format:*” and select “24 Hour”

Step 13: Enter Currency Precision #

  1. Label: Currency precision:
    • Description: This field is for entering the number of decimal places for currency values.
    • Example: If you use 2 decimal places, enter “2”.
    • Action: Click on the text input field next to “Currency precision:*” and type “2”

Step 14: Enter Quantity Precision #

    • Description: This field is for entering the number of decimal places for quantities.
    • Example: If you use 2 decimal places, enter “2”.
